Dr. John W. Montgomery, Pastor

Dr. John Montgomery has served as pastor of Cedar Creek Baptist Church since 1991. He is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. He attended John Brown University. He received a Master of Theology, Master of Ministry, and Doctor of Ministry and a Doctor of Divinity (Honorary) from North Florida Theological Seminary. He and his wife Sandra, have three children, Mark, Andy and David.

Lisa Pearson, Administrator, Cedar Creek Christian School        

Lisa Pearson has served as the Administrator for Cedar Creek Christian School since 2007. Lisa, her husband, Doug and their two beautiful children, Hanna and Zachary have been members of Cedar Creek since 1997. The Pearson’s are active members of Cedar Creek Baptist Church serving in the AWANA program, Sunday School and on and various committees.

Dr. Jakie Carmicle, Minister to Young Adults

Dr. Jakie Carmicle serves as the minister to our young adults. He is responsible for the development of programs and ministries for young adults. Dr. Carmicle received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Campbellsville University, Master of Divinity from Southern Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Theology from Jacksonville Theological Seminary. Dr. Carmicle also serves as Principal of our elementary campus and his lovely wife, Kathy, serves as the school registrar for the high school campus.

Irene Stapleton, Church Outreach Director and Church Hostess

As the Church outreach Director and Church Hostess, Irene Stapleton provides leadership in leading our church to reach out to community with message of Christ. Formerly with the Florida Baptist Convention in the Church Development Division, she brings many years of experience to her varied responsibilities. Irene and her husband, Jim has served our church faithfully for many years.

Kent Wolford, Children’s Church Director

Kent Wolford has served in children’s ministries for the last 37 years. Kent and his lovely with, Hope, have been members of Cedar Creek Baptist for the last 26 years. Even though Kent serves in numerous capacities in our church, his heart and calling are children. In addition to directing children’s church, Kent is our chapel speaker for the elementary campus.
